History Of:

by Joseph E Wherry I PhD

At an ACC meeting in August 2005, each of us had to make a presentation, on how, in my position of Retention, I would promote The Great Expectation. I used a New Family Packet, designed at the Pack I started in 2002 that, included a short History of our Pack, our Mission statement, our Organization Chart, a Youth Registration, a Family History / Emergency Number’s form, Vehicle form, a Leader’s Registration, a positions available list, and a job description form. Because of my health, I had to leave the meeting early, but I learned that, they had continued discussion of that packet. It was selected as the Council’s official Pack Packet, and I was instructed to, have a Successful Troop / Varsity Team, Venture Crews, who helped me create a Packet for those Units too. I have done the same for Sea Scout Ships, which the Area 7, and Central Region Commodores helped me also. Up until now, we only had them at the Commissioner’s booth, in the “University of Scouting”, we offer a copy of those Packets, plus they were only the list of needs,  all needs are in the packets, on pdf, for Unit Recruiting Chairs can open each item on pdf, then print and stuff. which also includes the Preparing And Running a Successful Campaign. The are also available above individual in above column, and they are available in Word, with instructions to get them from their UC, or my e-mail, for both our Council's, and my e-mail address, which is (jewherry1@yahoo.com)
